What are the most important features of Apple Vision Pro glasses?
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the beginning of a new era with the launch of the augmented reality headset, Apple Vision Pro, during the recent Apple Developers Conference (WWDC).
Cook added, "We believe that Apple Vision Pro glasses are a revolutionary product that will change the way people communicate and collaborate."
It will become clear in the coming months whether the new augmented virtual reality glasses represent the beginning of a new era, similar to the iPhone about 15 years ago. The new Apple Vision Pro glasses are scheduled to be launched in the American markets at the beginning of 2024.
Like traditional virtual reality glasses, the Apple Vision Pro glasses are opaque due to the presence of an ultra-clear screen in front of each eye, and it is not possible to see through them, but the cameras built into the camera make the area around the user visible to him.
In contrast to the “Passthrough” mode available in the “Meta Quest 2” virtual reality headset, the image of the surrounding area for the “Apple Vision Pro” user does not appear cloudy, but rather appears bright and extremely clear. But when the user moves his head back and forth quickly, distortion and blurry images appear in the Apple Glasses.
By pressing for a relatively long time on the rotary button, which is located on the right side of the virtual reality glasses, the user can display virtual screen windows in front of his eyes.
To get acquainted with the wonderful quality of the screen, it is enough to view a panoramic image taken with the iPhone smartphone. The user feels that he is in the middle of the picture, and can see all the details, which are hardly visible on regular screens or even the iPhone smartphone screen.
